As the New Year approaches, ENTO Direct takes time out to reflect on its first year of business and evaluates the challenges they have faced and the rewards that the year has bought in relation to the successful delivery of its learning programmes. Sharon Forton, Chief Exec of ENTO direct commented: “It is hard to believe that we are approaching our first “birthday” – the last 12 months has been exciting but has really flown by and I have enjoyed every minute…well nearly every minute!” Having 297 learners through their doors since delivery of its first learning programme at the end of January 2006, ENTO Direct has successfully progressed individuals through to learning programmes that include the Assessor and Verifier Awards and Health & Safety, Unit D. ENTO Direct has satisfied a large number of learners who have embarked on their learning programmes over the past year through their flexible yet high quality approach, meeting each learner’s individual needs. Working with clients across the UK, from a wide variety of occupational sectors, ENTO Direct has met both individual and organisational objectives in delivery of its learning programmes,, adapting delivery to suit organisational and individual objectives and situations. Sue Ryan, a V1 learner from ‘Manchester Business Solutions’ recently commented “my V1 Award has helped me in a number of ways that I never thought it would. I can not only now feel more confident in my work; I am now qualified and therefore more credible in my offerings”. Sue also went on to say: “I would most definitely recommend ENTO Direct to any other learner/company as ENTO Direct offers a very professional service. They are very approachable and very friendly”. A1 learner, Luke Hemstock from ‘The ADR Accident Repair Centre’ achieved his A1 Award within only 2 and ½ months; well exceeding the ENTO Direct guarantee of achievement within only 6 months! Luke was delighted to be a part of the ENTO Direct A1 learning programme as he found it to be “straightforward, high quality learning that suited his situation”. The OSAT Network (On Site Assessment and Training Networks for the Construction Industry focusing on accredited training for experienced construction employees) undertook a bespoke Health & Safety, Unit D learning programme with ENTO Direct which allowed them to hold delivery at their own premises and therefore the programme was more cost effective and focused to their specific needs. Feedback from the participants was excellent and comments include: “the information was put across in a way that was easy to understand and take in”…easy to follow supported by an excellent tutor”. John Bamford of HB Training and Co-ordinator of the OSAT Network also commented: “ENTO Direct were extremely flexible in the delivery of the programme and ensured that an assessor along with all of the learning materials was made available on the agreed dates at the venues of our choice.
