2 day workshop which sets out

- an overview of NVQs
- the role of the assessor
- assessment methods
- planning for assessment
- recording assessment decisions
- feedback techniques
- appeals and complaints – processes
and procedures
- quality assurance

2 day workshop which sets out the following:
- an overview of NVQs
- the role of the internal verifier
and definition of verification
- outline the verification strategy
- identification of assessor needs and
support
- allocation of learners to assessors
- undertaking observation of assessor
practice
- feedback skills
- liaison with external verifier
- internal quality assurance

After Day 2 of the learning programme
you will be contacted each week by your ENTO Direct assigned assessor
to check on your progress and basically answer any queries/questions
you have regarding the learning programme and assessment and verification.
There are also a number of Personal Learning Activities (PLAs)
available that offer support in key areas of learning and development
of the assessment and verification process. Your ENTO Direct Trainer
will discuss these with you during Day 2 of the learning programme
and your assigned ENTO Direct assessor will provide guidance in
you undertaking the activities.
Follwed 6 weeks later by Day 3: |
1 day workshop which sets out the following:
- revision of day 1 & day 2
- completion of personal learning activities
- discuss evidence requirements for
completion of the A1 award
- action plan for achievement

1 day workshop which sets out the following:
- revision of day 1 & day 2
- review progress
- share experiences
- discuss best practice
- action plan for achievement
|
After Day 3 you will have
an action plan agreed between yourself and your ENTO Direct assigned
assessor, which will contain milestones for submission of agreed
activity. You will be contacted by your assessor before the first
agreed milestone to monitor progress. Ongoing regular contact is
maintained after the initial date in line with other milestones. |

to A1 up skill Award – 1 Day Learning Programme |
D34 to V1 up
skill award – 1 Day Learning Programme |
1 day workshop which sets out the following:
- regulatory factors and organisations
influencing NVQ assessment and delivery
- the role of the A1 assessor, context
and responsibilities
- effective holistic assessment; planning,
assessing and judging candidates
- effective feedback; its place within
the assess/learn/assess cycle
- quality assurance process; the assessors
role and responsibilities

1 day workshop which sets out the following:
- The role of the V1 Internal Verifier;
context and responsibilities
- Managing, supporting and developing
your Assessment Team
- Management and Quality Assurance of
your provision
- Quality assurance processes; the internal
verifier’s role and responsibilities
- Meeting external quality assurance
requirements
- V1 Standard and evidence requirements

After Day 1 you will have
an action plan agreed between yourself and your assessor, which will

Unit
D - 2 Day Learning Programme |
1 day workshop which sets out the following:
- goals and objectives for health and
safety
- review of legislation, including pending
health and safety legislative changes for 2005
- underpinning knowledge requirements
to unit D
- risk assessing key areas relevant
to your prioritise
- documentation and records for work
area/practices being reviewed
- planning the review
- check list and reporting procedures
- collation of evidence
- good practices when completing health
and safety reviews
Followed 6 weeks later by Day 2:
1 day workshop which sets out the following:
- to review your progress
- share experiences
- discuss best practice
- preparation for evidence collection
and action planning

plan agreed between yourself and your assessor, which will contain
milestones for submission of agreed activity. You will be contacted
by your assessor before the first agreed milestone to monitor progress.
Ongoing regular contact is maintained after the initial date in line
with other milestones.
