1. Why has ENTO Direct been established?

ENTO Direct has been established to raise the quality of provision, particularly assessment and verification, across the United Kingdom through the delivery of high quality learning provision. Endorsed by the ENTO brand, ENTO Direct intends to offer learners the opportunity to gain Awards and Qualifications strongly associated with the actual setting and development of the standards.

2. Is ENTO Direct funded by ENTO or any of its services such as The Learning Network?

The People Development UK Group has launched ENTO Direct as the latest addition to its group of companies, which include ENTO, Ariam Media and ENTO Direct. ENTO Direct is both legally and financially independent and accesses no funding from any of the products and services of any of its sister companies.

3. So what exactly will you be delivering?

Initially ENTO Direct will be delivering Vocational Awards in Assessment and Verification (A1, A2 and V1) and the Competence Award in Health and Safety Review. These courses will be available for learners to attend at high-quality venues across the United Kingdom, subject to you meeting our selection criteria.

4. Why is the focus on Vocational Awards in Assessment and Verification?

At ENTO Direct we strongly believe that both Assessors and Verifiers are critical, not only to the future credibility and marketability of all NVQs, but also to the integrity. Ultimately the quality of assessment and verification of competence has an impact on the learner being assessed and, where the assessment leads to accreditation, the marketability of that qualification.

5. You are promising 100% achievement! Is this realisitic?

We are assuring that, providing you meet our selection criteria, and both you and your employer are fully committed to gaining the Award, then we will guarantee 100% achievement rate in all instances.

6. ...and a timescale of 6 months for achievement in Vocational Awards for Assessment and Verification? How are you measuring this?

We appreciate that this is difficult to perceive but we are confident that providing our selection criteria is met along with the commitment of you and your employer, ENTO Direct will ensure you achieve within 6 months of registration (subject to timings of Standardisation Meetings) or we will refund a percentage of the cost.

7. Will these be the only qualifications you deliver?

Further development of the brand will see provision of full NVQs in Learning and Development and Occupational Health and Safety, and, where there is demand, other Vocational Awards that support Assessment and Verification and Health and Safety.

8. Will the same promises apply to all qualifications you deliver?

Certainly the 100% achievement rate will, subject to the same criteria being met. In the case of the Vocational Awards there is a commitment for you to achieve within a 6-month timescale. In the case of the full NVQs this timescale would need to be revised to consider you, the individual, and your circumstances.

9. So, what makes your learning provision in Vocational Awards different?

The delivery methodology is radical in that unlike other provision where you are taught how to achieve the qualification, our approach is to work with you on the principles of assessment and verification. Back to basics, if you like. It is only after these principles have been embedded that you will work towards the Award itself.

10. Colleagues have taken these Awards in the past and have not completed them due to lack of support from the learning provider. Why are ENTO Direct any different?

We fully appreciate this and have developed our innovative delivery programme to address both this and other issues identified during our research and that is why we are so confident in meeting our promises. All our programmes are delivered by highly-experienced and qualified trainers and the venues are of the highest quality to compliment the learning programme. For those successfully entering the programme there will be continual support on offer from online tutors and telephone support, with response to queries being answered within 24 hours. In addition you will receive 3 publications from the “Excellence in…” series around assessment and verification and you will also have a years membership to the Learning Network, an online support network for anyone who delivers, assesses or verifies NVQs and SVQs. In addition you will benefit from ENTO Direct’s progressive attitude to assessment techniques, where assessors will use assessment methods and styles that suit you, the learner, and aid the achievement of your Award in a timely manner.
